EPHA Publication with collaboration of SMART researcher

After months working with the rest of the invited experts and the European Public Health Alliance (EPHA)’s personnel in the context of the Focus Group organized by EPHA and aiming at creating guidelines to measure and take the pulse of mental health and mental wellbeing in Europe, the main outcome of this work has been published.

This focus group and its linked outcome publication, “Building Better Indicators for Mental Health and Wellbeing“, are motivated by the need to create better, more positive indicators to measure the status of mental health / wellbeing across Europe, and to stimulate more comprehensive and adequate policies to prevent, ensure, and care for the mental wellbeing of Europeans in a more accessible and modern way.

This also implies the inclusion of digital and social-media based sources of information and ways of measure and study mental health / wellbeing, a domain where LV was able to add all the insight and ideas obtained during her experience planning and implementing the SMART project.

LV is deeply grateful for having been invited to participate and contribute to the best of her abilities in such a crucial, interesting, and inspiring work, where she was not only able to add her insights and experience, but also learn about other methodologies, and to expand her network beyond the academic environment within her field of interest and passion: mental health and public health.
