Lucía Vaquero is just starting her 6-weeks stay at the Max Plank Institute for Empirical Aesthetics, which constitutes her academic secondment within the MSCA timeline and planned activities.
Under the supervision and guidance of Dr. Franziska Dégé, from the Department of Music (Music Development research line), she will continue the preparation of a protocol paper, and the analysis of the behavioral data acquired during the Spring 2024 semester. Further, LV will also present the project on an seminar open to the different departments at MPIEA, and will discuss the project and its preliminary findings with researchers interested in it and closest to her expertise and research field. She will also try to meet with more junior researchers to contribute her experience and knowledge.
In addition, this stay at the MPIEA can be useful for the fellow to beter understand organizational matters within the max Planck Institutes, and to discover potential career opportunities. This knowledge can definitely be added to the ongoing Carrer Development Plan set in place from the beginning of the fellowship.
